BBCraft is a Survival Multiplayer Server for Minecraft with an emphasis on SURVIVAL. If you have a problem with the word "survival," you should turn back now. Creepers don't explode, but they do latch onto your face and om nom nom until they've impregnated you with their young. Zombies will break down your doors (and dirt/wooden houses, break through glass windows and dig through sand) to get your delicious brains. Furthermore, PvP is enabled with the expectation that players PvP responsibly. If this scares you, player pls go. If not, you are welcome to say "n0."
The server supports a number of "work-to-survive" plugins like mcMMO, which adds abilities and bonuses for doing things in Minecraft. Like mining. BBCraft also supports really fun complicated plugins like Runecraft among others. For a full listing of supported plugins and info about each, hit the link at the top of the page.
All builds on the BBCraft server are made from materials mined, chopped, sheared and smelted by players UNLESS they are large builds (Ex. you want to build your own town). Large builds may receive "donations" from moderators or administrators. Flying is enabled to assist with building. Speedhacking will get you punched in the face by the server.
At the present time, the server should be considered in a "State of Transition" with the possibility of future game-altering plugins on the horizon and paring down of commands for an even more survival-based experience.
